Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of makerpress.co and any order you place with MakerPress ("MakerPress", "we", "us"). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.

Orders and prices

• Prices are in US dollars and include shipping within the US. Any applicable sales tax is shown at checkout.
• Your order is accepted when payment succeeds and you see the confirmation page.
• Extra print areas (like a back or sleeve print) and AI image generations beyond the free ones are charged as shown in the studio and at checkout.
• We may cancel and fully refund an order we can't fulfil, for example if a product becomes unavailable, a price was shown in error, or the design breaks the rules below.
• Shipping times, cancellations, and refunds are covered by our Shipping & Returns policy.

Your designs

You keep ownership of the designs you upload or create. By placing an order, you give us and our print partners permission to use your design only to make, show (for example in your previews), and ship your order.

You promise that you have the right to use everything in your design, and that it doesn't:

• copy someone else's trademark, logo, artwork, photo, or other protected work without permission;
• use a real person's name or likeness in a way they haven't agreed to;
• contain hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or violent content, or anything illegal.

We may refuse or cancel (and refund) any order that we believe breaks these rules. If someone makes a claim against us because of a design you supplied, you agree to cover the costs that result.

AI-generated images

The studio can create and edit images with AI. Generated images are made from your instructions and may not be unique: similar images can be produced for other people. AI output can contain mistakes or unexpected details, so review the preview carefully before ordering. The rules for your designs above apply to AI images too.

Previews and products

Previews are realistic mockups, not photos of your actual item. Printed colors, placement, and sizing can differ slightly from what you see on screen. Product details and sizes come from our print partners and may change.

Using the site

Please don't misuse the site, for example by using automated tools to generate images or previews in bulk, trying to get around usage limits, or interfering with how the site works. We may limit or block access for anyone who does.

Limits on our responsibility

The site and its tools are provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, and our total responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Texas and applicable US federal law.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown here when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
